Target Markets for Fresh Cherry, Grape, and Pomegranate URGE Project that’s been conducted by Aegean Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Exportes’ Association with the participation of 19 exporter companies aiming to increase the market share in the international exports, particularly in the Chinese market, has started its activities by the end of 2019. The project has currently been conducting training activities to improve quality and supply of export worthy products, aims to develop projects to increase and facilitate the exports by airfreight.

Target Markets in the Processed Fruits and Vegetables Sectors URGE Project that’s been conducted by Aegean Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Exportes’ Association continues its activities, that’ve been started in 2019 with the aims of setting up a value chain to deliver the product quality expected by customer with the targeted cost and at the right time schedule to achieve a sustainable success & increasing the added value on sales through controlling the value chain farm to table.
Turkish Dried Fruits
Turkish Dried Fruits URGE Project that’s been conducted by Aegean Dried Fruits and Dried Fruit Products Exportes’ Association has started out with the aims of increasing the competitiveness of production and marketing systems and accelerate the export of value added products to the new markets. Within this scope, the project continues its activities with 18 participant companies to increase Turkey’s market share of the sultana raisins in the European Market, entering the Far Eastern Market -particularly Japan- and entering the Indian Market, which is world’s second largest.

High Efficiency & Value Added Marble Exporting Cluster (www.aegeanstones.org )
Aegean Minerals and Natural Stones Exportes’ Association is coordinating a project that aims to establish a cluster of natural stone exporters from the Aegean Region of Turkey. The cluster has 25 natural stone exporters and they target to export their value added products not only for the use in construction projects but also for the demand of the end consumers.
Export Coaching and Cooperation Cluster in the Natural Stone Sector
"Export Coaching and Cooperation Cluster in the Natural Stone Sector" project has been organized by Aegean Minerals and Natural Stones Exporters Association to increase the natural stone exports of 30 member companies since 2018. The project aimed to increase the use of Turkish stone in international construction projects and companies to play an active role in foreign markets.
Cluster Project on Technical Textile
With the cooperation of Aegean Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association and Aegean Apparel Exporters’ Association, a Cluster Project on Technical Textile which is financially supported by the Ministry of Trade, was initiated before Covid-19 to increase the export potential of 11 member companies. Considering the rapid transformation process experienced during the Covid-19 and the future of the sector, it is evaluated that the technical textile will gain more importance in the next period, and studies continue to improve the capabilities of the member companies in the field of technical textiles.
Cluster Project on Sustainable Improvement on Apparel Sector
Aegean Apparel Exporters’ Associationhas conducted a Cluster Project regarding Sustainable Improvement on Apparel Sector for 26 apparel member companies for 2 years to improve their managerial and operational performance on sustainability with the financial support of Ministry of Trade. Within the scope of the project, studies are carried out to ensure that member companies could reach world standards in terms of sustainability (social compliance, environment), which has become more important in apparel sector amid the Covid-19.
